Process Lab

About Process Lab

Process Lab makes spreadsheet tools, cheat sheets and guides for the parts of trading that are easy to skip: deciding size before the trade, stopping on a bad day, writing down what happened, and keeping records that hold up at tax time.

Made by the Process Lab desk. We're a small desk, and we build the tools we wanted for our own records: plain spreadsheets and PDFs you own, that work in Excel and Google Sheets, with a short guide in plain English.

What's in the shop

The lineup is organised in seven categories, and it grows weekly from a public roadmap of planned tools. Each category page shows what's available now and what's coming soon, with target months.

  • Tax & Records: Wash sales, 1099-B checks, estimated tax and year-end records.
  • Journal & Risk: Size every trade, cap your worst day and review what you did.
  • Charts & Patterns: Chart patterns, candlesticks, support, resistance and moving averages in plain English.
  • Planning & Routine: Trading plans, pre-market checklists, watchlists and weekly routines.
  • Rules & Accounts: The PDT change, margin and settlement rules, IRA vs taxable accounts.
  • Learn the Basics: Order types, market hours and trading terms, one page at a time.
  • Bundles: Several tools in one download, for less.

New to trading? The Start Here path puts the categories in order, from the basics to tax-ready records.

Planned items aren't for sale until they launch, and dates can move. See every product and what's coming.

What we won't do

  • No stock picks, signals, alerts or "systems".
  • No performance or income claims, and no testimonials about results.
  • No crypto products.
  • No calls on where a chart is headed. Charts & Patterns guides teach how to read a chart with fictional examples, and patterns fail often.
  • No personal advice. Everything is the same for every reader.
